OWEGO, NY (607NewsNow) -There’s still time to get your pet vaccinated for free in Tioga County.

Spots remain for tonight’s rabies vaccination clinic in Owego.

Attendees are encouraged to bring prior vaccination records for their dog, cat, or ferret, and all animals must be leashed or in a carrier. One animal per person, but anyone bringing multiple pets can make more than one trip. Tompkins County Public Health asks anyone with an aggressive dog to notify staff, and a vet will come out to the vehicle to administer the shot.

Although the clinic is free, a $10 donation is suggested. Pre-registration is required here.

The clinic runs from 5:30 to 7:30 at Campville Fire Station #3, located at 1281 State Route 38.
