TCPL to host free lung cancer screenings Tuesday in Ithaca

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – You may be eligible for a free health screening in Ithaca.

On September 1, the Tompkins County Public Library is hosting the Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes for free lung cancer screenings.

Personnel will be on hand to help you determine your eligibility, assist with scheduling screening appointments, answer questions, and connect you with cessation resources and support.

No appointment is necessary. Attendees are also encouraged to take the American Lung Association’s Saved by the Scan online cancer screening quiz.

The event takes place Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
