Tompkins County legislators look to accept airport funding

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Legislators in Tompkins County will look to accept funding tonight.

The New York State Department of Transportation recently awarded the county $1.35 million for a new geothermal heating and cooling system at the Ithaca Tompkins International Airport. At tonight’s legislative session, officials will vote on accepting that funding.

The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. at 121 East Court Street in Ithaca.
