ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Tompkins County Medical Director Dr. William Klepack is highlighting new HIV medications.
During a recent interview on Ithaca’s Morning News, he said different injections are available.
“One is taken about every three or four months, and the other [is taken] every six months,” he said.
Klepack said the injections are as effective as pills. He said both medications should be affordable and available under insurance plans.
