Tompkins County reviewing study on minimum wage

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — A study on adopting a minimum wage in Tompkins County is now in the hands of legislators.

Ian Greer, director of the Ithaca Co-Lab at the Cornell ILR School, tells 607 News Now the study reached some conclusions.

Several public sessions were held as part of the research process, and Greer added the study still requires approval from the Tompkins County Legislature.
