ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – Cornell homecoming is just around the corner.

While festivities officially kick off this Friday, some parking restrictions will take effect tomorrow.

Crescent Lot is scheduled to close at 5 p.m. on October 2 and reopen on October 5. Additionally, the portion of Hoy Road currently closed for construction will remain closed throughout Homecoming Weekend. You will only be able to access Hoy Road from Route 366/Dryden Road.

Additional parking lots and street closures near Schoellkopf Field are slated for Friday and Saturday.

Thursday, October 2 – Sunday, October 5

  • Crescent Lot closes 5 p.m., will reopen Sunday

Friday, October 3

  • Hoy Parking Garage levels 4 and 5 are closed
  • No garage entries allowed after 6 p.m., no exits between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.
  • Campus Road closed between Garden Ave. and Wing Dr. from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • No pedestrian traffic on Campus Road between Garden Ave. and Bartels Hall 8:45 p.m. – 9:15 p.m.
  • Hoy Road closed at 8:30 p.m. for the duration of the drone and laser light show

Saturday, October 4 

  • Campus Road – no vehicle traffic between Garden Ave. and Wing Dr. 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Locations restricted for tailgating and game – Crescent Lot, Alumni Field, Bartels Hall, Kite Hill (Campus Road C), Lynah/Teagle Lot (closed), Wing Dr., Hoy Garage

Sunday, October 5 

  • Bartels Hall lot restricted for concert
