Troopers charge Massachusetts man with rape in Steuben County

CANISTEO, NY (607NewsNow) — A Massachusetts man is being charged in Steuben County.

State Police say 29-year-old Estefan Henriquez was arrested Wednesday in Canisteo after driving to meet a 14-year-old girl for sex. According to authorities, Henriquez had previously met the teen in person and sent several sexually explicit messages to her through a social media platform before his arrival.

Henriquez is charged with rape, kidnapping, attempted kidnapping, and attempted rape. He remains in the Steuben County jail, with bail set at $15,000
