Vacant building demolished ahead of Chipotle construction in Lansing

LANSING, NY (607NewsNow) – Demolition is underway in the Village of Lansing.

Crews began knocking down the former Imperial Kitchen Buffet building on Graham Road West this week in preparation for the construction of a new Chipotle restaurant.

The project at the long-vacant site near the YMCA was approved in February.

No opening date has been announced yet, but developer Chris Fiello previously said construction would take about five months once the site was build-ready.
