Waverly man charged for leaving crash that injured two

SAYRE, PENNSYLVANIA (607NewsNow) – A Waverly man faces charges in Pennsylvania.

On September 24, police arrested Noah Tappan-Bright for leaving the scene of an accident in Sayre on September 5.

According to WETM-TV, Tappan-Bright sped through a busy intersection and caused a 4-vehicle accident that injured two people. He then fled the scene on foot with another man.

According to the Athens Township Police Department, Tappan-Bright feared he’d be detained or arrested after the crash and gave his information over the phone. The vehicle allegedly had a strong odor of cannabis.

Tappan Bright is charged with two counts of causing an accident involving injury while unlicensed, which is a felony, three misdemeanors, and multiple violations.
