Waverly man jailed on charges stemming from 2025 crash in Pennsylvania

WAVERLY, NY (607NewsNow) – A Waverly man is behind bars.

According to the Morning Times, Noah Tappan-Bright was jailed on $250,000 cash bail on May 19 in Athens Township, Pennsylvania.

The 25-year-old was arrested last year after allegedly causing a 4-vehicle crash near Sayre on September 24, 2025, and fleeing the scene on foot. He later reported the accident on his phone. Two people were hospitalized as a result of the collision. Officers allege Tappan-Bright’s vehicle had a strong odor of cannabis.

Tappan-Bright is facing multiple charges, including two felony counts of causing a crash resulting in injuries while unlicensed.
