DANBY, NY (607NewsNow) — Danby has a new youth program educator.

Jorin Clougherty is settling into the role with lots of enthusiasm.

“The thing that I think excites me the most is that I was actually a youth participant in this program, you know, 10 or 15 years ago,” he said.

Clougherty is planning to introduce new courses this fall.

“One of them is going to be a puppet and mask creation program,” he said.

The program is expected to wrap up around Halloween. Clougherty said his background in theatre inspired the course.
